At Cizlot ("we", "us", or "our"), we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile app ("Cizlot" or the “App”), designed to help users browse, search, and book appointments at salons and parlours across India.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Cizlot, we may collect the following information: Personal Information: Full Name, Phone Number (used for login/signup and verification), Email Address (if provided), Date of Birth, Gender. Location Information: We collect your location details to help you find nearby salons and parlours more efficiently. This information will only be used for the purpose of enhancing your user experience and is not shared with third parties without your consent. Images and Camera Access: The app may request permission to access your device camera or photo gallery when you use features such as AI Hairstyle Try-On. Users may upload an image from their gallery or capture a selfie using the device camera to generate AI-based hairstyle previews. Uploaded images are used only for generating hairstyle preview results and improving the feature experience. Images are temporarily processed and stored only for the duration required to generate results unless the user chooses to save them. Users can delete generated or uploaded images at any time within the app. We do not collect any sensitive personal information such as financial data, biometric identifiers, or health-related data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to: Authenticate and verify your account using OTP (One-Time Password). Allow you to book appointments and share your name with the selected salon. Perform internal analytics to improve app performance and understand user behaviour (e.g., via gender or location analysis). Send booking confirmations, reminders, and notifications. To show you salons and parlours near your current location. To personalize your experience and offer location or gender-based suggestions. To process images uploaded by users for the AI Hairstyle Try-On feature and generate hairstyle preview results.

3. Data Storage and Security

We store your data securely using industry-standard encryption methods. Firebase Authentication is used to verify your mobile number through OTP. Your personal information and booking history are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized personnel. Uploaded images used for AI hairstyle previews are processed temporarily and may be deleted automatically if not saved by the user. We regularly monitor our systems for potential vulnerabilities and take appropriate security measures.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Your name, selected appointment time, and relevant booking details are shared only with the salon you choose to book with. We do not share your location, phone number, or other personal information with any third party. Images uploaded for AI Hairstyle Try-On are not shared with salons or other users. Any communication or arrangement outside the app (e.g., WhatsApp, phone calls) between you and the salon is not governed by this policy.

5. Your Rights

As a user, you can: Access and update your profile details at any time within the app. Upload, save, or delete images used for AI Hairstyle Try-On within the app. Request account deletion by contacting our support team. Request deletion of your personal data stored with us. Opt-out of promotional communications (if implemented in the future).

6. Children’s Privacy

The app is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information from our systems.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Significant changes may be communicated via the app or email (if provided). Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
